Welcome to Bikash Rural Development Foundation
During the COVID period, we provided daily essential food to over 350 families in rural communities through our dedicated programs and support.
Women from various walks of life have shown us the strength and potential they possess when given the right opportunities. They help us identify the challenges they face, and together, we work to break down barriers, enabling them to regain their confidence, achieve financial independence, and become leaders in their communities.
Major Focus Points
Plantation and environmental awareness are crucial in combating climate change. Planting trees helps in reducing carbon dioxide levels and improving air quality. Adapting to the right types of trees for each region ensures their survival and effectiveness. Raising awareness about energy conservation can lead to reduced energy consumption, which helps mitigate climate change. Together, these efforts contribute to a healthier planet.
Youth unemployment is a major issue in rural areas where job opportunities are scarce. To tackle this, skill development programs have been introduced to match the needs of the local job market. These programs focus on providing both technical and soft skills, such as computer literacy and teamwork. By empowering young people with these skills, the aim is to reduce unemployment and enable them to contribute to their communities. Skilled youth can become agents of change and innovation in their areas.
Access to healthcare is crucial, yet many rural areas lack basic services, leading to preventable illnesses. We organize health camps in underserved communities, offering essential medical care like check-ups, dental care, and vaccinations. These camps also educate on nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention. By bringing healthcare to those in need, we improve their overall well-being.
Education is a powerful tool for change, yet many rural children lack access due to poverty and distance. At Bikash Rural Development Foundation, we provide scholarships, school supplies, and educational support to help these children attend and excel in school. By investing in their education, we aim to break the cycle of poverty and create better opportunities for their future. This investment benefits both their communities and the nation.
